Wayne Patrick Felkins “Broke On Through To The Other Side” on April 19th, 2023 at the age of 61. He joined the human race on September 12, 1961 in Russellville, Arkansas via humans Calvin L Felkins Sr and Patricia Jean Hyatt Felkins.
Wayne’s love of classic rock was second to none and he always found joy in the soundtrack it provided to his life. To quote one of his favorite songs: “This is the end, beautiful friend, the end". He joins his Rock and Roll idols Jim, Jimi, and Janis (among too many others) at the great Woodstock concert in the sky. Wayne spent much of his life attending to his 3 main loves; hunting, fishing, and camping. He was so good at these that there’s a small chance he might actually just be out camping and fishing, we’re not quite sure. He put these skills to great use during his time in the U.S. Army, lasting from 1979 – 1981.
He is survived by his favorite child, PugPug, who was like a son to him; his son, Christopher Felkins of Perryville; beloved siblings Lucia and Aaron Felkins of Russellville and Dover, respectively; also Gail Felkins. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and family friends.
His graveside service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
