Unita Whybark, 74 of Hector, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 3, 1948 in Santa Rosa, California to Fred and Violet Edwards Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Fred Lee, Jr., Victor Lee; sister, Alberta Linker.
Unita was of the Assembly of God faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of other people. She was known as mom and grandma or granny to more than just her family. Unita enjoyed watching her TV shows and playing games on her phone. She left a great legacy to her family.
She is survived by her children, Sheila Whybark of Hector, Wendy Story and husband Robert, of Hector, son,, Richard Whybark of Benton; grandchildren, Justin Freeman, Tiffany Marshall, Madison Besterfeldt, Ashley Story, Corey Story, Matthew Story, Jillian Freeman, Shelby Whybark, Dustin Whybark, Jeremy Whybark; 22 great grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Mewborn, Glenda Fields; husband, Jack Whybark, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
The family will host a life celebration of life at 2pm Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Victory Worship Center in Dover. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
