Tula Irene Sharp

Tula Irene Sharp, 73, of Dover, AR, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016, at her home. She was born February 11, 1943, in Memphis, TN, to Irvin Foster Privett and Nida Oretha Raney. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Larry Sharp; four children, Debra Stevens, Kenneth Stevens, David Stevens, Sandra Williams; nine grandchildren, Thomas Stevens, Amanda McIntosh, Kenney Stevens, Jason Stevens, Marcus Stevens, Patrick Stevens, Matthew Madden, Michael Williams, Joshua Williams; eleven great-grandchildren, Chris, Gavin, Loren, Emily, Gabriel, Jadyn, Gage, Sajara, Maggie, King, Ahri; one sister, Kathryn Hendrix and a host of other family and friends. Tula was a member of the Dover First Baptist Church. She worked in the nursing field for 35 years before retiring March 31, 2012. Visitation will be 5-7PM, Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Dover First Baptist Church in the Educational Wing, on the East side entrance of the building. Funeral service will be 10AM, Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Dover First Baptist Church sanctuary, with Rev. Jeff Paxton officiating. Burial will be in Hudson Cemetery, Moreland, under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. Pallbearers will be Thomas Stevens, Kenney Stevens, Christopher Stevens, Patrick Stevens, Tommy Helton, Mathew Madden and Marcus Stevens.
