Thomas V. "Ott" English, age 77, of Plumerville, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at his home in Plumerville. Born on June 12, 1948, in Russellville, Arkansas, he was the beloved son of the late Tom English and Annie (Owens) English.
Thomas served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Thomas was passionate about the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns, and fast cars, pursuits that brought him great joy throughout his life. He was a member of the London Church of God of Prophecy; but above all he loved God
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Barbara Tinsley, Bethy, and Wanda Kay; and two brothers, Wayne and David English.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Freda Jo English of Plumerville; their three children, Cheryl Mulanax (Anthony) of Clarksville, Lisa Countryman (Jonathan) of Pottsville, and Adam English (Jennifer) of Plumberville; cherished grandchildren Glen, Kelsey, Kayla, Dallas, and Nathaniel; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Starr (Kirby) of Mt. Vernon; and two brothers, Mickey English of Russellville and Jimmy English (Judy) of Hector; and his fur baby Chester.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Friday, April 24, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM at Russellville Family Funeral. Due to the weather, the service has been moved to the funeral home beginning at 10am the same day. Burial will be private at Bethel Cemetery.
