Steven Millen Henderson

Steven Millen Henderson, 65, of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

Born on April 26, 1961, in San Bernardino, California, Steven was the son of Stewart Millen Henderson and Nadene Gier Henderson.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Stewart Millen Henderson and Nadene Gier Henderson.

He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory, including his sons, Gier Henderson and wife Jennifer, and Garner Henderson and wife Rebecca. He was also a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren: Lily, Ivy, Noah, Nathan, Rainy, Hailey, Rusty, and Emily Henderson, all of whom brought him great joy.

Steven spent many years working as a commercial truck driver with Wayne Smith Trucking Company. Through his hard work and dedication, he provided for his family and built lasting friendships throughout his career.

Steven was a man of deep intelligence and wisdom, never content to simply accept things at face value. He possessed a fiercely independent and often rebellious spirit that shaped the way he lived his life. He loved thoughtful, meaningful conversation and could spend hours discussing ideas, sharing stories, or debating life's biggest questions. Those who knew him will remember not only his sharp mind, but also his unique perspective, strong convictions, and the authenticity with which he lived.

Steven will be remembered for the love he had for his family, the hard work he demonstrated throughout his life, and the memories shared with those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

A memorial service celebrating Steven's life will be announced at a later date.
