Stella Carolyn Wood

Stella Carolyn Wood, 76 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023 in Russellville, Arkansas.  She was born May 17, 1947 in Peach Orchard, Missouri to James Riley Williams and Mable Pauline (Stella)Reese Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Michael James Williams ; nephew Michael Williams II.

She was a member of Grace Fellowship. She taught Job Corp in MO for twelve years, she also taught in various schools during her teaching career with her last job being  at Arkansas Tech.

She enjoyed traveling the world, she did 70 days around the world with her husband the summer of 2022.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Retired Fire Fighter Preston "Woody" Harold Wood; one son Paul David and wife Taunya of Ellensburg, WA; two granddaughters Zoe Nicole Wood, Spokane, WA and Taneum Adeline of Ellensburg, WA; step son, James Harold Wood; stepdaughter Shelia Diane Crosson (Clay) of Cape Girardeau, MO;  grandson Will Holifield (Chelsie) of Sikeston, MO; Rhonda Wood, grandson Preston Donald Wood;  grandchildren, Mathew Wood of Kansas City, MO , Ashlee Nicole Schweich (Kyle) of Wentzville, MO Stephen Wood of Edwardsville, IL,, Melissa O'Bryant (De-Ante) of New Haven, Mo; exchange children, son, Gilles Delaisse of Belgium, Mia Wycoco of Philippines, Louis Collignon of Holland, Natasha Anikina of Russia, Amelo of Argentina, Veera Nikkanen of Finland, Jelena Konitc of Croatia, Cannis Yu of Hong Kong, Ana Lukic of Serbia, Ayumi Wu of Taiwan; two sisters, Brenda Sue McAnulty (Lonnie), Vicki Downum (Steve); a bonus family Kelly and Ethan Winsor and thier kids Jacob and Lydia; and a host of nieces nephews and other family and friends.

Carolyn's visitation will be Saturday, August 12, 2023, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Russellville Family Funeral.  

The Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, August 13th, 2023 at Grace Fellowship with burial following in St Paul Cemetery; Dover, AR 
 Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. 

Pallbearers will be Preston Wood, Stephen Downum Jr., Spenser Downum, Phil Krout, Derek Altman, Bob Faulk.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Donnie Price, Steve Turnbow, Daniel Williams, Suzy Turnbow, Christie Tanner, Sandy Krout, Lorenda Altman, Rachella Bressler, Sara Dawn Corn.
