Shawndell Ronel Pemberton

Shawndell Ronel Pemberton, 53 of Russellville, Arkansas, gained her wings, Friday, August 4, 2023 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born October 31, 1969 in Newport Beach, California to Gene Arthur Fitch and Carol Ann Guest Fitch.  

She was preceded in death by her dad; niece, Micki Gomez; her grandparents, Arnold and Mary Fitch and Leonard and Imogene Guest; father-in-law, Isaac Pemberton.

Shawn had a loving heart and contagious smile. She was a member of The Journey Church.  She worked for several years as Operations Manager at Asurion, where she made many great friends.  Shawn was very artistic and loved to paint.  In her spare time, she enjoyed being outdoors, camping, kayaking and spending time with her dogs, Ruger, Brutus, Remi, Toby and Idgy. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Sachel Pemberton; children, Loren Alvey and Scott of Scott, Arkansas, Reed and Kelsey Alvey of Atkins; grandson, Walker Reed Alvey; her mother, Carol Fitch of Hot Springs; stepson, Adrian Pemberton of Russellville; sister, Christy Fitch of Hot Springs; brother, Ken and Rachel Fitch of Blacksburg, South Carolina; nieces and nephews, Michael Fitch, Angela Lowe, Kendra Baker, Robbie Fitch, John Francis, Rachel Francis; mother-in-law, Joyce Pemberton of Russellville; sisters-in-law, Phyllis and Lynn Muncy of Dover, Andrea Kelley of Russellville; step nieces and nephews, Brandon and Michelle Muncy of Dover, Cameron and Shelby Muncy of Dover, Dirk Muncy of Colorado, Braxtyn and Myles Muncy of Colorado, Raelyn Pemberton from Russellville, as well as several other family and friends.

Her visitation will be 5-7pm, Wednesday, August 9, 2023, with her Life Celebration beginning at 7 pm at Russellville Family Funeral. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
