Rory Dean McCarthy, 66 of Pottsville, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025 in Russellville, Arkansas. He was born September 3,1959 in New Orleans, LA, to John David McCarthy and Erlene Watkins McCarthy.
He was preceded in death his father John McCarthy Sr. and a nephew; James C. McCarthy.
He is survived by his mother, Erlene McCarthy; sister Jerilyn McCarthy(Steve), brothers; John(Beth), James(Joyce), nieces and nephews nationwide, also many cousins on the Gulf Coast and New York area.
Rory was a life-long tennis player and also loved golf.
A celebration of life will be held privately by his family. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
