Robert “Bob” Berg, 83, of Russellville, died Saturday April 23, 2016. He was born February 16, 1933 in Stuttgart, the son of William E. Berg and Mildred Zimmerman Luebker. Bob passed peacefully in the comfort of his own home. As an electrical engineer, Bob worked for Northrop Grumman and McDonnell Douglas. He was a gentleman who displayed honor and kindness toward others. He was a devoted husband to Nelda Berg for 34 years and a wonderful father. He will be deeply missed by his wife Nelda; his children and their spouses Carl Philip Berg and Valerie Berg; and his step-children David Smelser, Cheryl Bader, and Sharon Smelser. He was also a doting grandfather who took much joy in spending time with his grandchildren, Jeremy, Chris, Madison, and Alison, and his great grandsons, Brandon and Justin. Bob is survived by his siblings William Berg Jr., Margaret Anne Pitts, Carl Luebker, Rozann McKinney, Christina Yurkovich, Mary Grace Shelton, Herman Luebker, Joseph Luebker, Mitzi Kelley, Thomas Luebker. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Rita Roller and Theresa Schultz. Online guestbook and condolences are available at www.russellvillefamilyfuneral.com.
