Rita Kay Smith, 70 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026 at Russellville, Arkansas. She was born February 7, 1956 in Russellville, Arkansas to Eugene and Evelyn Dornan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Steve Smith; daughter, Michelle Smith; sisters, Kathy Meadows, Wilma Taylor; brothers, James Honeycutt, Jimmy Don Dornan.

She is survived by her significant other, Charlie Richards; brothers, Bobby Joe Dornan & Elizabeth Ann, Dennis Lloyd Dornan & Lora; granddaughter, Bentley and several other nieces, nephews and family and friends.

A celebration of life will be announced soon. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
