Rhetta Cooper

Rhetta  Cooper, 69 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022 at the Arkansas River Valley Hospice Home in Russellville.   She was born May 5, 1953 in Caroutherville, Missouri to Burl and Sybil Emerson.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ricky Emerson. 

She  is survived by her husband, Garry Cooper; four children, Julie Dale, Will Cooper, Alec Armstrong, Lauren Armstrong; grandchildren, Hallie Mosley, Caleb Keele; four great grandchildren,  as well as several other family and friends.  

Rhetta retired from the Pope County Health Department as a secretary.  She was a member of Crow Mountain Baptist Church.   She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. 

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.  There are no services planned at this time.
