Reno J Hughey

Reno J. Hughey, 83 of Dover, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Conway Regional Medical Center.  He was born October 22, 1936 in Seventy Six, Missouri to Abraham and Ruth Rhyne Hughey. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Gladys Ruess, Juliet Hughey, Cleveland Hughey, Patrick Hughey, Enos Hughey.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Ruby Hughey; children, Gary and Debbie Hughey, St. Louis, MO, Travis and Lori Hughey, Andrews, SC, Jeff and Tammy Hughey, Terlton, OK, DeAnna Brook, Claremore, OK;  stepchildren, Vicky Shoemaker and Bobby Shoemaker both of Conway; special friends and caregivers, Gary and Carla Lilley, Dover; eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Reno was a US Army Veteran.  He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Assembly of God Church.  Reno was loved by all who met him.  He enjoyed sharing stories and experiences, riding horses, playing his guitar and writing songs.

His visitation will be 5-7pm, Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Russellville Family Funeral.  His Funeral service will be 10am, Friday, February 28, 2020 at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jackie Pledger and Bro. Mike Chisum officiating.  Burial will be in Baxley Cemetery, Paris, AR under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. 

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
