Posie Maxine Lis

Posie Maxine Lis, 90 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at her home. She was born March 7, 1931 in Pottsville.  Her parents were John B. and Callie D. (Freeman) Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother and sister; grandparents, Naomi and Press Freeman.

Posie loved her family dearly.  She was born in an era where family was pretty much all they had.  Raised in the mountains with her family, taught her the value of leaning on each other. 
She will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by daughter, Micki  Parker and husband Allen of Russellville; four grandchildren, Daniel Parker and wife Sydni; Jace Parker, Raegan Parker, Landen Parker; great granddaughter, Austyn Blair Parker, as well as several other family and friends.

The family will have a graveside memorial service, 2pm, Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in Tarlton Cemetery with Pastor Danny Worsham officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
