I had the privilege of knowing Phil and singing with him over the course of several years in Russellville. His faith was demonstrated throughout our friendship. I marveled at his rich strong voice and always tried to sit/stand near him to ensure that I was singing properly. I know he is singing with the angels now. Condolences to his family.

So many memories of Phillip and the whole family when they lived in Edna, Texas. We would stop there on the way to Corpus Christi. So many laughs with him on so many topics. And wondering over his beautiful garden!

Phil was the first pastor in Cheyenne, Wy. Both my husband and I had gone to school with Phil and Rich so knew them well. Before the ordination/ installation service we short sheeted his bed, stuffed his boots with paper, put silverware in the oven amongst other things. Phil was a good sport about that and whenever we got together , we had a good laugh reminiscing. He always had a smile on his face. Our condolences to his family. He is now at peace with Jesus and we look forward to seeing his smiling face again.
