Noel Carol Welch of Dover, Arkansas fulfilled his last day of life with a legacy of love and adventure on Monday, October 4th, 2021. Noel was born the youngest child of Patrick Wiley and Minnie Julia Roberts Welch on August 16th, 1928 in Camp Wood, Texas. The five boys of the Welch family were all proud servicemen to their country all serving within the United States Army. Noel’s military service began when he was drafted during the Korean War in which he worked transporting within the Engineers until 1953 when he made his way home on the General WM Black ship to be greeted with his family and friends.
Noel’s loved ones are left with fond memories of a man who lived a life with a full pursuit of happiness and giving nature. His humor and wit were enjoyed by all those with the pleasure of knowing him. To know Noel was to know a man who had an abundance of love for his family, Cadillac’s, horse racing, scouting for burl wood, traveling, gardening, and drinking coffee while telling stories at the kitchen table.
Noel reunited in Heaven with his parents; beloved wife Peggy Howie Welch, two daughters Janet Lynn Welch Wellman and Linda Welch Warren; along with his 7 siblings: Ollie Mae Welch Capehart, Joe Lee Welch, Vera Marie Welch Merck, Avery Jessie Welch, Marion Francis Welch, Elisha Potter Welch, and Dimple Dee Welch Stancil.
