Nathaniel (Nat) Courtwright

Nathaniel (Nat) Courtwright age 71 of Russellville, Arkansas passed away June 28, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Russellville, Arkansas. He was born April 23, 1950 in Granite City, Illinois to William Courtwright and Earnestine Courtwright-Mejaski. He was a Vietnam War veteran and a retired supervisor from Dow Chemical. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends.  He will never be forgotten and will always be greatly missed.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Courtwright; sister-in-law, Billie Courtwright; brother-in-law, Larry Schwander and sister-in-law, Adeline Hubbard.  Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Emy Courtwright; son, Stan (Missy) Courtwright of Atkins; two granddaughters, Emily Courtwright of Russellville and Kourtney (Ritchey) Shannon of Mansfield; grandson, Cody (Whitney) Stubbs of Atkins; two brothers, Nathan (Janet) Courtwright of Marshfield, MO and Justin Courtwright of Dover; one brother-in-law, Mike (Anetta) Schwander of Russellville; sister-in-law, Cathy (Craig) Burchfield of Scotland and Patty Fondren of Russellville; several nieces, nephews and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Steve Hubbard, Jimmy Zinnell II, David Fondren, Wayne Henry, Cody Stubbs and Jimmy Zinnell III.  Graveside service will be 9am Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
