Michael Day Lewis

Michael Day Lewis, 76 of Russellville, Arkansas, went to his heavenly home, Friday, August 25, 2023.  He  was born October 25, 1946 in Lynnwood, California to Bill and Thelma Jones Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Catherine Cline Lewis and brother, Billy Lewis.

Mike proudly served in the US Army, during Vietnam.  He loved fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife, Diana  Lewis; sons, Steve Lewis (Laura), Michael Lewis (Howard), Michael Smith, Bryan Smith, Kenny Smith (Lauren); grandchildren, Samantha Lewis, Margaret Lewis, Josh Smith, Colby Smith and Kaleigh Smith; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Smith, Ember Smith and Summer Abbott; sister, Terri Hawkins; brother-in-law, Jerry Hudlow (Charlotte), as well as several other family and friends.

His memorial visitation will be a come and go event, 5-7pm, Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Russellville Family Funeral. We will have a flag presentation and playing of TAPS to begin the service st 5pm.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
