Russellville

We are sad to announce the passing of Mary Francis Langley, also known as Mamaw of Russellville Arkansas. Mamaw passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 82 at Atkins Care Center. She was born September 10,1940 in Eudora Arkansas to the late Mitchell & Pearlie Price. Mary was raised in Belleville Ar. by Rufus (Doc) & Belle Ballinger, her grandparents. Mary would reminisce about the summer she went to Belleville and never went home. She teased about how she had too many siblings in Eudora. Mary was the oldest of the 8 children. She graduated in Belleville and was awarded biggest flirt of the senior class and Ms. Senior of Belleville High School. After high school Mary started a family, she had two beautiful girls, Regina Karol and Melissa Kaye Holland. She met her best friend, Peggy Alexander. Peggy was more like a sister than a sister-in-law. They raised their children together like siblings not cousins. Their friendship has lasted a lifetime. Mary met Melvin Langley (Buddy) later in life; they've spent the last 32 years taking day trips playing cards and league bowling. Mary loved to bowl. She worked at Sports World and Russellville School district for many years. She loved children and family time. If you knew Mamaw you loved her. She left a lasting memory with everyone she met. Mamaw’s presence brought a warm loving feeling, she left the scent of vanilla with every hug she gave. Vanilla perfume was her favorite. She will be missed, deeply. We take comfort in knowing her and Regina are having a wonderful reunion in heaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and all seven of her siblings; one daughter Regina Karol Holland

Survivors include her husband Melvin Langley (Buddy) one daughter Melissa Cothren, one step daughter Regina Reed, one grandson Shane & Terri Holland; 2 granddaughters Kassidy Cothren, Regan Cothren (Christian) ; 3 great grandchildren, Zander Holland, Jax Holland, Hazel Hernandez; one great grandson on the way Jazper Belivian Gomez
