Mary Lou Green Klouzek

Mary Lou Green Klouzek, beloved sister, wife, and mother, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Russellville, Arkansas. Mary was born on May 21, 1957, to Helen and Chester Green, Jr. in Rolla, Missouri. She graduated from Rolla Senior High School in 1975. Mary attended college at SMSU, Springfield, Missouri (now Missouri State), graduating with a degree in Elementary and Special Education in 1979. She went on to obtain a Masters in Education in 1989 and a degree in Accounting in the mid-1990s. She was a skilled seamstress and had a passion for cooking and canning from the large garden her husband, Ron grew each year. Mary had many pets over the years, especially cats that her daughter Ali rescued, and she was known for her friendliness and kindness to people and animals.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Greg, her granddaughters, Summer Rose and Cora Jane, a great-niece and great-nephew, her grandparents, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Klouzek of the home, two daughters, Anastasia (Michael) Welch and granddaughter Alexandra of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and Ali (Corie) Foster and granddaughters Emma and Mia of Brisbane, Queenland, Australia.

She is also survived by her sisters, Gail (Tom) Hildy, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Kay (Kevin) McMaster, Grapevine, Texas, Tami (Richard) Louis, Murphy, North Carolina, Lana (Darrel) Jarvis, Rolla, and a brother, Randy (Sunny) Green, Chongqing, China. Mary is survived by an Aunt, Joan (Jim) Barrett, Scottsdale, Arizona, an Aunt, Marie Flora, St. Louis, Missouri, an Uncle, Sid (Marian) Green, Salt Lake City, Utah, her cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, along with many friends.

Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
