Mary Louise Duvall

d. April 24, 2021

On Saturday, April 24th 2021, Mary Louise Duvall, 74 of Russellville was joyfully reunited with her husband Charles in Heaven. They will be celebrating their 58th wedding anniversary together on May 31,  2021.

Mary was truly a one-of-a-kind woman as loving and compassionate as she was strong and bold. She never let her loved ones down. She lived life on her own terms and led countless others to do the same. So many of our lives have been impacted by her generosity. Mary’s door was not only always open when you needed a place to stay; some people have likely been scolded for not coming soon enough. She cooked for a crowd every day, usually her famous fried chicken or the fish her husband and grandsons had caught on the river. She worked most of her life at Dardanelle Tyson and throughout her career,  she met many friends who became as close as family.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Duvall, her parents, O.H. and Cardila Welcher, sister, Nadine Rosenkranz, brothers, Kenneth and Richard Welcher. She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Alexander (Greg), Dawn Taylor (Jim); Five grandchildren, Shawnda Cook (Chris), Mitchell Moore (Jennifer), Chris Taylor (Heather), Jared Taylor, Dillon Moore (Rachel); Her sisters, Thelma Nordin and Judy English; and Great Grandchildren, Gabriel Taylor, Patch Cook, Riley Cook, Tucker Moore, Tate Moore, Weston Moore, Cole Taylor and Taylynn Taylor; Two Honorary grandchildren Kevin Brady and Tosha Palmer, and her best friends, Bob and Virginia Merritt, her fur babies Miley, Alley, Angel.

Per her request, there will not be a public memorial service. In honor of Mary’s life, family and friends are encouraged to celebrate by telling stories of “Granny and Pop” and drinking an ice cold Pepsi.
At a later date, the family will have a private memorial graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Arkansas Hospice Foundation 14 Parkstone Circle North Little Rock Arkansas 72116.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
