Marion Wayne Pruitt

Marion Wayne Pruitt, 78, passed away in his home in Greenbrier, AR. his son Jeremy was with him in his time of need. Wayne was born to Herbert and Dorthy Walker Pruitt. He served in the U.S. Army as a Medic which led to him becoming ambulance driver for years even owning Van Buren County Ambulance Service. and then went to driving tractor trailers. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Dorthy Pruitt, his beloved wife Sheila, his brothers James Clark, Elsie, Herbert Lamoine Roy Eugene, Bill Pruitt, James Clyde Marple. Sisters Ann , Faye, Ruth, Mary Delois, Dorothy Pearl.

Wayne and his beloved Sheila-had three children. Alana Ruth Drew, Jeremy Wayne Pruitt, and Erica Pruitt. Grandchildren: Mason, Kierson, Hannah, Sadie, Barry Wayne , Emily, Katie, Nick , Trent and several great grandchildren. He's survived by three brothers Charles (Joye), John (Dee), Donnie Joe Pruitt, four sisters Bonnie, Judy, Barbara, Ruby (Johnny), along with tons of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Wayne came to know our Lord and was thrilled to know he would walk with him. He loved his children and grandchildren and greats dearly and his wish was that they come to know Jesus and serve him.

Visitation for Wayne will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Monday, November 17, 2025, at Russellville Family Funeral. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm., Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Zion Hill Cemetery, with Bro. Brian Ryals officiating.
