Maria "Denise" Wilson

Maria Denise Wilson, 60 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away April 27, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 19, 1965 in DeQueen, Arkansas to Dewey Edward Smith Sr. and Mavis Caudell.

Denise was a devoted Registered Nurse whose care extended beyond professional duty into a genuine compassion. She served with kindness and skill in both home health and hospital settings.

Denise enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle, a passion that connected her with many friends across the states.

Beyond her career and hobbies, Denise was a loving grandmother who found immense joy in her grandchildren. She kept close ties with all her friends, always taking the time to check on them no matter where life took her.

Denise's legacy is one of kindness and unwavering love for family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her father and husband, Richard Wilson.

She is survived by her Son, Timothy Richard Smith (Bree); grandchildren, Jalyne Smith, Jackson Smith, Cyrus, Helena, Atlas Guglielmetti; Mother, Mavis Caudell; siblings, Lora Smith, Dewey Smith Jr., Lawana Bradley (Tim), Bobby Caudell (Lindsey), Dennis Caudell, Sherry Poplin (Grant), Jackie Beasley Burris; nieces and nephews, Adam Bradley, Nikki Phillips, Katherine Lee, Tiffany Whittington, Steven Bradley, Dana Smith, Debra Smith, Zachary Smith, Grace Poplin, Cory Caudell, Tayler Caudell, Tristin Caudell and numerous friends.

Her visitation will be at 6-8pm Thursday, April 30th, 2026 at Russellville Family Funeral. The Funeral service will be 2pm Friday, May 1st, 2026 at Russellville Family Funeral officiated by Rev. Bob Branch with burial following in Hudson cemetery in Moreland. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.

Pallbearers will be Steven Bradley, Adam Bradley, John Clark-Burris, Orlando Murillo, Kyle Phillips and Grant Poplin.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Bubbus, Dakota Whittington and Jordan Lee.
