Lucinda "Cindy" Tereza

Lucinda Merle "Cindy" Tereza, 70 of Hector, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021. She was born December 22, 1950 in Dardanelle, Arkansas to Merle Monroe and Laura Bell (Miller) Housley. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel Tereza; brother and sister-in-law, James and Velda McDowell.

She is survived by her two sons, Derek Tereza and wife Jacque of Hector, Lonnie Tereza and wife Angie of Atkins; two grandchildren, Lauryn Tereza and Parker Gore of Hector, Kye Tereza and wife Baylee of Hector; brother-in-law, Jerry Tereza and wife Pam of VanCouver, Washington; niece, Janet McDowell of Sherwood; Lyla Rackley, who lovingly referred to Cindy as Grandy Cindy.

Cindy loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, knitting and outdoor activities like fishing. You could always find Cindy drinking a cup of coffee.
Her visitation will be 5-7pm, Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Russellville Family Funeral. Graveside funeral service and burial will be 2pm, Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle, under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. Mr. Hunter Huffman will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Kye Tereza, Parker Gore, Shawn Partain, Ethan Partain, Eric Edwards, Bobby Childers.

I have known you over 40 years and I know you knew just important and special you always have been to me since I was 4 yrs old you have had my back no matter what you were there ready to do what ever it took for me to be treated fairly i don\'t remember how many times I lived in your house over the years i owe you more than anyone else understands you have always been my momma T when my kids came along you fell right into granny never missed a beat you have been loved my whole life and always will be but now you will be missed terribly for the rest of my life Love you Momma T ....

Cindy was a true blessing to our family when my mother was ill and she helped attend to her needs. The best compliment I give is that I always seemed uplifted whenever we crossed paths. My prayers for the family at her passing.
