Linda Waynette Ward

Linda Waynette Ward went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Legacy Heights Nursing Home in Russellville, AR, where she was loved by so many caring and compassionate people over the last few years of her life.

She was born on February 12, 1956, to Bobby and Rose Ward. She spent most of her life in North Little Rock, Arkansas, and worked for nearly 25 years at the Arkansas Department of Health.

Linda was both feisty and sweet. She loved her niece and nephews and adored the pets she had throughout her life. She loved her mother, spoke about her often, and missed her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Wayne Ward; her mother, Rose Ozell Ward; and her grandparents.

Survivors are her brother, Randy Ward; her niece, Breanna Reyes, and husband, Mario; and her nephews, Gentry Ward and Hunter Ward; and many other relatives and friends.

Her room will be open for viewing, for last goodbyes, at Russellville Family Funeral in Russellville, AR on Tuesday, September 15th from 1:00pm-4:00pm. There will be a graveside service for family and friends at Rest Hills Cemetery in North Little Rock, AR on Wednesday, September 16th at 12:00.  Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Russellville Family Funeral.
