Larry Morton

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Morton,  a beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend.

Larry Morton, 74, of Atkins, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at his home. He was born on January 12, 1950, in Dumas, Arkansas to his loving parents Charles William Morton and Aliene Hill.

Larry proudly served in the US Navy. He worked about 27 years in lumber sales with Cash Lumber Company and National Home Center. His favorite pastime was fishing, supporting and watching the Razorbacks Football and Basketball.   Larry loved spending time with his family. His nieces and nephews, have great memories of being with him at Morton's Tire Shop in Pottsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Don Morton and Rick Morton; and two sisters Karen Chance and Donna Pace; nephew, Kenneth Sewell   Larry is survived by his loving wife of almost 51 years, Lindsey Morton; his brother Tom Morton and Terri of Atkins; sister Judy Reynolds of Pottsville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A Memorial Gathering to honor and remember Larry's life will be held on April 15, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Russellville Family Funeral Home located at 2757 E Parkway Dr, Russellville, AR 72802.  His obituary and on line guestbook are available at www.russellvillefamilyfuneral.com.
