Larry James Dodson Sr., 69 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at Russellville, Arkansas. He was born October 23, 1956 in Dyess, Arkansas to James Newton Dodson and Rosalene Mueller.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Dodson; mother, Rosalene Mueller; sister, Joyce Mulkins.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Dodson; son, Larry James Dodson Jr.; daughter, Stacy Michelle Gahlawat; brother Gary Dodson; 4 sisters, Linda Newman, Deborah Brockway, Janice Collins, Teresa Honeyman; six grandchildren, Natasha, Nathan, Shyann, Jamie, Jessie, Lacey; 4 great grandchildren, Leila, Raya, Saya, Allie and several other family and friends.

Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He will be deeply missed.
