Joyce E. Boswell

Joyce E. Mizerak Boswell, 74 of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born March 23, 1946 in Gary, Indiana to Albert P. Mizerak, Sr. and Elizabeth Lukacs.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Renea Boswell; sister, Betty Serynek. 

Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, crafting, coloring, playing board games, crossword puzzles and drinking coffee.   She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and former member of St. John's Lutheran Church.  Joyce enjoyed helping others.  She was active with Meals on Wheels program, Helping Hands and Vacation Bible School.  

She is survived by her husband, David E. Boswell, Russellville, children, David J. Boswell, Dover, Janet L. Henning, Barbara J. Boswell, John W. Boswell, Amy E. Hart, all of Russellville; grandchildren, David J. Boswell, Jr., Adrianna Boswell, Ashley Jones, Chris Henning, Angel Henning, Dawn Henning, Allison Boswell, John Ryan Boswell, Emmitt Hart, Canyon Dulli, Cherokee Dulli; sister, Shirley Fabry, Livonia, MI; brother, Albert Mizerak, Jr., Valparaiso, IN; several other family and friends.  

Her graveside funeral service & burial will be 10am, Monday, June 22, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Augsburg with Pastor Joshua Ralston officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.  

Her visitation will be 10am-12 noon, Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Russellville Family Funeral.  
The family requests family and friends to please wear a mask and practice social distancing, during the visitation and graveside funeral service.

Pallbearers will be David J. Boswell, Jr., John Ryan Boswell, Tim Henning, Rickey Hart, Canyon Dulli.

In honor of Joyce, memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice or Zion Lutheran Church.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Kindred Hospice.

Mr Boswell & family, I will keep you all in my prayers, I pray God wraps his loving arms around all of you and gives you peace and comfort. I use to be a cashier in a grocery store, I always loved to visit with Joyce as I checker her out, she was always smiling and so very kind.
