Joseph "Joe" West

Joseph "Joe"  West, 75 of Russellville, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022.  He was born February 2, 1947 in St Charles, Virginia to Odson and Etta Griffith West.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Sharrard West; his  parents; two brothers;  Richard West and Norman West. 

Joe proudly served in the US Army, during the Vietnam era. Joe retired from Ford Motor Company, in Michigan.  He was a proud member of the NRA.  Joe loved to bake bread and his creations of different breads.  He was a loving Dad and Grandfather who also enjoyed spending time with his two cats, Tippey and Pibb.

He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Betker of Russellville; grandson, Wes Betker and Briana of Columbia, Tennessee; great grandson, Jaysen Betker; brother, Clint West of Russellville; two sisters, Cynthia Meila of Michigan , Mona Wallace of Havanna, AR;  as well as several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.  

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
