Johnny Ray Maxwell

Johnny Ray Maxwell, 62 of Atkins, Arkansas, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 at his home.  He was born December 11, 1960 in Vancouver, Washington to Alvin and Ruth Maxwell. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; bothers Bobby Maxwell, Harrol Maxwell; sister, Brenda. 

He is survived by his children, Jolene Maxwell, Tracy Maxwell, Anna Carter; several grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy Maxwell, James Maxwell, Linda McNamara, Melvin Maxwell, Francis; the love of his life, Carol Foster and other family and friends.  

Johnny loved to fish in his spare time. He enjoyed taking all the kids fishing. 

Graveside funeral service will be 2pm Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Bells Chapel Cemetery in Atkins. The family is requesting for donations to help lay him to rest.  Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
