Johnny James Kreps

Johnny James Kreps, 77 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026, peacefully at his home, with his daughter by his side. He was born March 6, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Betty Pryor Kreps; two brothers, Larry, Tommy, sister, Janie; step-mom, Patty Kreps; grandparents, Leo and Bertha Kreps.

He graduated from Bristow High School in Oklahoma where he was very active in, Mu Alpha, Theta; French Club, Newspaper Staff, Chess Club, Chorus, Music Masters, Student Council, Baseball, Track, OK Honor Society, National Honor Society, Masonic Student of Today, National Merit Scholarship, semi-finalist, ACT Commendation. Johnny proudly served in the U.S. Navy, during Vietnam. He was talented working with computer programming, he also traveled and worked in the Nuclear Power Plants. After retirement, he enjoyed reading.

He is survived by his triplet children, Shawna Campbell, Shane Kreps, Sean Kreps; grandchildren, Sierra, Savanna, Corey, Josh, Justin, Jillian, Paige, Skyler, Blake, great grands, Bryson, Peyton; siblings, Kenny, Jeanie, Sharon, Donnie, Susan, Mike, Kevin, several other family and friends, including his best friend, Bill.

Family and friends will host a life celebration at a later date.
