John Henry Freeman

John Henry Freeman, 76 of Pelsor, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026 at his home in Pelsor, Arkansas. He was born March 14, 1949 in Pelsor, Arkansas to Edgar Freeman and Lily Pellham. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Lily Freeman and the grandparents that raise him Louis and Luella Freeman. Two brothers; Finis and Wendell Freeman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years. Lora Venitha Freeman. Two sons; John Kelvin (Kayla) Freeman, Keith Willis (Hedi) Freeman. Four grandsons; Caleb, Isaac, Jensen and Beau Freeman.

Two sisters, Edna Mae Ralph (Bill), Viola Wheeler. Three brothers; Wilburn Freeman (Ruby),E.L. Freeman (Brenda), David Freeman (Cherly). One sister in law Shirley Freeman. Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

John was a Godly man, he was a member of Lurton Assembly of God.

He loved buying, selling and raising calves. He loved attending the sale barns. He was always ready and enjoyed spending time with his family and grands.

John's visitation will be at Russellville Family Funeral on February 2, 2026, from 5-7pm. The funeral service will be February 3, 2026, starting at 10am, at Lurton Assembly of God church in Lurton, AR, with Rev. Dean Caldwell and Rev. Stan Taylor officiating, burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery in Pelsor, AR.

Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.

Pallbearers will be: Rodney Freeman, Jonathon Freeman, Jason Ricketts, Justin Reddell,

Jason Freeman and Les Marshall.

Honorary Pallbearers; Jim Brasel, Bobby Harris, and Bob Gibson.
