John Barr
August 14, 1932 — October 8, 2020
John Barr, 88, of Russellville passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 at his home. He was born August 14, 1932 in Chattnooga, Tennessee to David and Mildred Barr.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, David, Jimmy and Paul Barr; sister, AdraJeanne Ruggles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara Anne Barr; five children, Kathy Ann (Hans) Vandingstee, Lincoln (Bonnie) Barr, Cynthia (Rick) Melton, Daniel (Angie) Barr, Catherine (JR) Denton; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Anne Barr and several other family and friends.
John loved his career as a land surveyor, but was a dedicated husband and father.
Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
