Jo Ann Chambers, 77, born November 17, 1946, passed away on December 24, 2023, in Berryville, Arkansas after a long illness.  She was the daughter of Omer Lee and Irena Chambers of London, Arkansas.

 

She attended local school In London, Arkansas and attended Russellville Senior High School in Russellville, Arkansas.  She was the youngest of seven siblings.  She was preceded in death by her parents Omer and Irena Chambers including siblings Ilah Ramsey, Hobert Lee Chambers, Jean E. DeLuna and Kenneth Ray Chambers.  She is survived by her devoted sisters Mary Jane Boyd and Faye C. Bowden. Also, by a niece Gloria Jean O'Donnell, to whom she was very devoted, as well as several other nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to high school, she attended college studying Interior Design.  She was proficient as a para legal working in high profile and prominent law firms.  She also worked in prominent Christian Philanthropic organizations that promoted publishing and research of theological scholastic papers and books. Additionally, she was instrumental in co-founding and co-pastoring a non-denominational church in southern California where she resided until the last few years of her life.

 

In the course of her work, travels, and social life, she became acquainted with notable actors. astronauts and politicians, of particular note were John Wayne and President Bill Clinton.

 

We, her family, mourn her passing.

 

Funeral service will be 1PM Friday December 29, 2023, at Russellville Family Funeral chapel.
