Jimmy Dale Chronister

Jimmy Dale Chronister, 74 of Atkins,  passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born October 26, 1945 in Moreland,  to Claude and Sarah Duvall Chronister.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Chronister; grandson, Hunter Allen Chronister; a brother and several sisters.

Jimmy Dale loved spending time with his family and his little dog, Bo.  

He is survived by his children, Tabbatha Johnson & T.J.; Timmy Chronister & Shelley, Bo Chronister & Wendi, Jeremy Chronister & Haley, Josh Chronister & Amanda, Jamie Chronister; 21 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Don Chronister, several other family and friends.  

His visitation will be 4-7pm, Friday, June 5, 2020 at Russellville Family Funeral ( According to state directive, masks are required inside the funeral home for persons above the age of 10 ).  Graveside funeral service and burial will be 10am, in Suggs Cemetery in Atkins, with Rev. James Duvall officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. 

Pallbearers will be Owen Jones, Willis Staggs, Chaz Riley, Jacob Glenn, Dalton Turney, Mike Johnson. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Lonnie Paul Duvall, Don Chronister, Jesse Eaton, Mike Huffstatler.
