Jerry Underwood, 76 of Dardanelle, Arkansas, passed away Friday, August 21, 2026. He was born September 3, 1949.

He is preceded is passing by his parents, Bertie and Helen Underwood; bonus son, Dean Lowder; bonus daughter, Melissa Whitbey; siblings, Ruby, Bryan Underwood, Ernie Underwood, Jack Underwood, Betty, Ray Underwood and Robert Underwood.

He s survived by his wife, Floy Underwood; two children, Chris and Candice Underwood, Tosha Underwood and James; bonus sons, Darrell and Trish Lowder, Todd and Joelle Lowder; grandchildren, Mariah Jeffcoat, Dillan and Kaitlyn Jeffcoat, Rilee Underwood, Jonathan Lowder, Thomas and Amber Lowder, Tyler and Alex Loughridge, Anna Lowder, Olivia Lowder, Laken Whitbey; great grandchildren, Lainey, Julian, Macey, Malachi, Lakyn, Millie as well as several other friends and family. 

Jerry was a member of Connect Church in Russellville. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

His visitation will be Monday, August 24, 2026, 1:00-2:00pm at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel, with his funeral service beginning at 2:00pm. Bro. Jim Huffman will officiate.
