James C McNeely

James C. McNeely, 95 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026. He was born March 2, 1931 in New Philadelphia, Ohio to Loren and Linnie (Tobin) McNeely. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Darlene McNeely. son, Mark W. McNeely; sister, Marie Parsons.

James proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. James and his wife were avid backpackers, even a trip of 2700 miles from Mexico to Canada, however it was interrupted by a volcano from Mount Saint Helens. He had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his loving sons, James D. McNeely and Steven McNeely; his loving daughter, Gale Saenz. He leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family and friends.

His life celebration will be 10am, Monday, April 20, 2026 in Russellville Family Funeral Chapel, with military honors.
