James Edwin "Mickey" Harris

James Edwin "Mickey" Harris, 90 of Pottsville, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, August 2, 2026 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 19, 1936 in Russellville, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, C. Z. Harris and Alice Maxine Nunley Harris; his wife, Frances Darlene Smith Harris.

Mickey was an amazing man, who accomplished all of his dreams throughout his life. In his earlier years, he was a competitive athlete in high school events and calf roping in the rodeo circuit. Mickey was a third generation family business owner, Harris Banana Company. He was an avid outdoorsman, including hunting and fishing. He was well known as a master knife maker. His passion was taking care of his cattle farm, Harris & Sons Farm. He was a Christian and loved to spend time with his family and his grands, who lovingly called him Pa.

He is survived by his children, one son, Buck Harris and wife, Rhonda of Pottsville, two daughters, Kimberley Rumschlag and husband, David of Pottsville; Sandy Arnold and husband, Lee of Dover; four grandchildren, Whitney Mahoney and Jared, Jake Harris and Maggie, Joshua Holbrook, Kyle Holbrook; four great grandchildren, Flint Mahoney, Aubrey Mahoney, Jett Mahoney, Noah Holbrook; brother, John C Harris; sister, Alice Harris Dixon; niece, Elizabeth Harris; two nephews, Jeff Dixon and Greg Dixon, as well as several other friends and family.

Mickey's visitation will be 6-8pm, Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Russellville Family Funeral.
