My uncle was a great man as a kid I remember wearing his hunting orange and wanting to be like him. I remember many Easter egg hunts, Fourth of Julys and Christmases and camping trips as a kid he was my hero.

Mike, memories of you are among my fondest from my high school days. I cannot believe you are gone. I also cannot believe that I lost touch. I am happy to know that you and Josh are probably throwing one of the best parties Heaven has ever seen right now. I love you brother. Thanks for all the love and care you had for me and for always looking out for me. I always knew I was safe when you were around no matter what stupid decision I made. I left a donation in your name, I wish there was no reason to do so. This world has lost a wonderful man. But Heaven has gained one of the most amazing Souls. To your family I share my condolences, my love, my support, and my strength, because getting over not having the force of nature that was Mike Austin around every day is not going to be an easy task.

The son we never had. You came into our life as a 16 year old kid and grew to an incredible man. you will be missed. Your laughter and quirky since of humor was infectious.
To Mary and the rest of the family, hugs and prayers for peace.
