James Michael Austin

James Michael "Mike" Austin, 45 of Russellville, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at his home.  He was born June 25, 1974 in Dardanelle, to James Bernell Austin and Mary Louise Brock. He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Bernell and Sue Austin; Jim and Flora Brock; step-sister, Bonnie Turner. 

He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Boyd and husband Jim of Dover; special niece, Mili Dennis; five sisters, one brother, one step-brother, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family  and friends. 

Mike loved Fat Man Austin's fried pickles, hunting, fishing, the Arkansas Razorback's.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.  Mili said he was her hero and role model. He was employed at West Fraser.

His visitation will be 5-7pm, Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Russellville Family Funeral.  Funeral service will be at 10am, Friday, March 13, 2020 at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God Church with Bro. Jack Pledger and Bro. Clint Craig officiating.  Burial will be in Pollard Cemetery under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. 

Pallbearers will be Jason Maunz, Hannah Maunz, Jeremy Clifford, Jackie Allison, Ernie Jack and David Brock. 

Mary and Jim would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to a very special friend, JoAnn.
