Grace was a helper. She was one of those people who would jump in and help you with your task. I remember her stopping by while I was making food and she just joined in and helped out. Then she left before it was time to eat. She wasn’t helping to participate; she was helping because she saw the need and was kind. She was a skilled seamstress but the thing I remember most about her is her laugh and smile.
