George Barefield

George Lee Barefield, 67, of Atkins passed away Monday, February 27, 2017, at his home. He was born November 23, 1949, in Wabbaseka, AR to Ralph Whitey Barefield and Anita Bernice Hughes Barefield. He is preceded in death by his parents; one grandchild; 4 brothers, Jessie Barefield, Leroy Barefield, Bobby Barefield, Johnny Ray Barefield; one nephew, Ralph Lee Barefield. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Susan Barefield; 4 children, Bobby & Sherry Barefield, Greenbrier, Ralph & TaWanna Barefield, Russellville, Marcus Barefield, Atkins, Karen & Terry Boyd-Ormsby, Atkins; nine grandchildren, Jessica Freeman, Brittani Motley, Ashley Standridge, Christopher Barefield, Nicholas Barefield, Samantha Barefield, Zachary Barefield, Kara Barefield, Adam Boyd-Ormsby; 5 great grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren, Guthrie Boyd, Matt James, Jonah Jones; 6 step-great grandchildren; 1 brother, Joe Barefield & Diane, Appleton; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Memorial service will be 2pm, Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel with Pastor Chad Duvall officiating.
