Gary Foshee

Gary Lynn Foshee, 72 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Atkins Nursing in Atkins, Arkansas. He was born May 27, 1953 in Morrilton, AR to Raymond Foshee and Esther Foshee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Diane Van Buren and brother, Jerry Foshee.

He is survived by his son, JJ Foshee; several he considered as his children, Sloan, KC, Jasmin, Josh, Melissa, Brittany, Elijah; three granddaughters, Lydia Foster, Ryen Dickson, Jaycie Foshee and several other grandchildren; siblings, Ray Foshee, Lester Foshee, Janie Hill, Carolyn Bland, Marilyn Johnson, Cotton Foshee, Nancy Barton and several other family and friends.

Gary was a hard worker. He started working in the paving industry in 1977. He was well known for his 49 years of expertise in asphalt. His family was his pride and joy. He opened his home and heart to many over the years. He was the best papa to his grandkids.

His visitation will be 5-7pm Monday, January 5th at Russellville Family Funeral. The Funeral service will be 1pm Tuesday, January 6th at Russellville Family Funeral officiated by Reverend James Findley with burial following in Harrison Cemetery in Ben Hurr. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Foshee, Kevin Foshee, Sloan McKellar, Elijah Deweese, Cameron Johnston, Chance Bailey. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be all employees of Jack Woods and Blackstone Construction.
