Fred "Ted" Britton Zeiger Jr, 84 of Russellville, Arkansas. Because Ted's purpose and journey were fulfilled on earth, the Lord called His good and faithful servant home on Friday, September 16, 2022. He was born February 20, 1938 in Marianna, Arkansas to Fred Britton Zeiger, Sr. and Velva Chambers Zeiger. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Jimmy Zeiger; two sisters, Dottie Zeiger and Nancy Sparks.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years,, JoAnn Zeiger; his children, Tammy Coyle and husband Paddy, Britt Zeiger, Kaye Cantwell and husband Peter, Jimmy Paulman and wife Melanie, Teresa Waldron and husband Danny, Pam Underwood and husband Robbie; numerous grandchildren, several great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
Ted, a man of great faith, exemplified it daily. His many attributes made him a kind and thoughtful husband, father and PaPaw. Ted had many talents and interests. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisheman, who loved nature and reflected on all of God's creation. He loved to sing and play guitar, creating memories for his grandchildren. Ted loved reading his Bible and enjoyed reading Louis L'amour western books.
Praise to his wonderful caregivers, his loving wife, JoAnn and his son, Jimmy. We will miss him deeply, but will always honor his legacy. As we go on without his presence, knowing we will see him again, we will remember his words for all of us, "Nothing but the blood of Jesus".
The family will host a private life celebration at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
