Floyd Wayne Freeman, “Pockets”, 62 of Appleton, passed away, Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born September 4, 1953 in Ozark, AR to Floyd Garlin “Jimmy” Freeman & Pearl Bascue Freeman. He was preceded in death by his father and great –nephew, David Allen. He is survived by his mother, Pearl Freeman; his children, John Freeman & Jessica, Jimmy Freeman & Jennifer, Terri Lynn Freeman, Staci Frideres ; grandchildren, Logan Freeman, Dylan Freeman, Gabriel Freeman, Cassie Freeman, Kyler Joseph, E.J. Staggs, Jagger Staggs, Britni Duckett; siblings, Carlyn Shoptaw & Robert, James Freeman, Lisa Rackley & David; his ex-wife, Betty Domerese; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He retired from Con Agra after 37 years of service. Floyd liked to read, tell jokes, draw , play bingo, but more than anything, he loved to visit and talk to his family and friends. Visitation will be 4-6 Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 2pm Monday, July 25, 2016 at Atkins First Free Will Baptist Church. Bro. Johnny McCoy, Bro. James Freeman and Bro. John Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Tate Cemetery at Appleton under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
