Flora New

Flora S New, 92 of Pearl, Mississippi, previously of Russellville, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 30, 2023.  She was born February 21, 1931 in Russellville, Arkansas to Fred and Minnie Harris Standridge.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John New; grandson, Kiley Treadway; son-in-law, Daniel Lucero; siblings,  Wayne Standridge, Maxine Mansell, Franklin "Sonny" Standridge, Judy Thompson; nephew, Leonard Standridge and brother-in-law, Tommy Thompson.

Flora had a cute nickname, Tink.  She was Aunt Tink to her nieces and nephews also.  Flora was very active in church.  She was a member of Antioch Free Will Baptist Church, where she formed a women's group.  She always had a lovely yard, with beautiful flowers.  

She is survived by her children, Shirley West of Russellville, Anthony Treadway and Annette of Pearl, Mississippi, Debbie LeBlanc and Alan of Rockledge, Florida, Raina  Lucero of Waynesville, Missouri; grandchildren, Guy West and Lori, Shannon West, Tonia King and Brad, Bill Harrison and Shana, Adam LeBlanc and Molly, Kendra Baney and Jason, Danielle Treadway, Jessie Lucero and Peyton; numerous great grandchildren; two siblings, Jerry Standridge and Elaine of Hot Springs Village and Freddie Harris of Russellville; dear friend, Norma Banks of Russellville, caregiver, Keisha Collier of Pearl, Mississippi and her two dogs, Pickles and Heidi. 

Her visitation will 10-11am, Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Russellville Family Funeral, with the funeral service beginning at 11am.  Doctor Ron Harrison will officiate.  Burial will follow in  Phoenix Cemetery in Dover, under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
