Guestbook

Without a doubt Dick was a true Mountain Man. He lived his life with only the bare necessities in the manner that made him happy and proud. He was full of folklore knowledge and skills which served him well. His humorous tales of life in the mountains were entertaining and moreover true, because they were his own experiences. In his dealings with others, his honesty was his greatest trait. Im sorry thankful I had the privilege of calling him a friend for over 45 years.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mitch, Julie, Sean and family members during this difficult time.

Mitchell we are so sorry for your loss. Your dad was such a hard worker and would always help when he could. Be strange on the mountain without him on it. God bless you and your family and pray he gives you peace.
