Evalene McGuire

Evalene McGuire, 87 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Legacy Heights Nursing & Rehab Facility.  She was born September 8, 1935 in Oark, Arkansas to Solomon Earl Skaggs and Lavern Coslett Skaggs.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sons Ricky McGuire and Tim McGuire; siblings, Darrell Skaggs, Joyce Hastings, Earl ‘Tub’ Skaggs and Alice Summers.

Evalene was a loving mother and grandmother and loved spending time with family and shopping with her sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Jean & Cecil Jones of Clarksville, sons Johnny & Missy McGuire and Don & Laura McGuire of London and Randy McGuire of Russellville.  Seven grandchildren, Cathy Rocole, Michael McGuire, Randall McGuire, Tamara McGuire, Whitney McGuire, Jessica McGuire and Brent McGuire and several great-grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law Tom & Liz Skaggs of Springdale, four sisters, Earlene Davis of Springdale, Catherine Beck of Danville, Joann Terry of Oklahoma, and Janiece Drassler of Rogers as well as other family and friends.

The visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 24, 2023 at Russellville Family Funeral with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel.  Burial will be private at East Point Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.

Pallbearers will be Johnny, Don, Randy, Michael, Randall McGuire, and Cecil Jones.
