Emerita "Tita" Amalia May

Emerita "Tita" Amalia May, 54 of Russellville, Arkansas, went to her heavenly home, surrounded by her loved ones, on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. She was born September 22, 1971 in Ozatlan, El Savador to Mariano Caballero and Virginia Melendez. She was preceded in death by her father, Mariano Caballero and her brother, Antonio Caballero.

Emerita was an employee of Conagra Brands. Maya Angelou once wrote, "To describe my mother would be to write about a hurricane in its perfect power." That was her, strong, fierce, loving, and unforgettable. Her presence shaped us, and her absence will be felt deeply.

She is survived by her children, Ricardo Caballero, Matthew Caballero May, Michelle May and wife Lexi May; siblings, Santiago Caballero, Zarbelio Cabellero, Yenis Caballero, Alex Caballero, Damaris Caballero, as well as several nieces, nephews and her precious fur babies, Toby and Finny.

Her visitation will be 5-7pm, Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Russellville Family Funeral. Her funeral service will be 10am, Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Russellville Family Funeral, with Pastor Ismael Segovia officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park, under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
