Douglas W. Fisher, 84, of Pampa, TX, passed away, Monday, October 30, 2017 at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Russellville, AR. He was born December 28, 1932, in Smith County, TX to Virgil and Faye Lucas Fisher. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Virginia Ann Fisher and Sharon Decker. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Peggy Fisher; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kirk and Jennifer Fisher, Keith and Julia Fisher; three grandchildren, Vanessa Workman and husband James, Jessica Duran and Jaymes Duran; two great-grandchildren, Lily and Russ Workman; three siblings, Jean Ward, Jerry Fisher and wife Melva and Carolyn Spraggins and a host of other family and friends. Doug proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a longtime member and deacon of Cornerstone Baptist Church. He loved gospel music, traveling with Peggy, snow skiing, water skiing, riding motorcycles and camping. Doug loved life, his family and above all, The Lord. Local arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held in Pampa, Texas under the arrangement of Winegeart Funeral Home.
