Donald James Sexton

Donald James Sexton, 76 of Atkins, Arkansas, went to his heavenly home, Monday, May 26, 2025. He was born January 26, 1949 in Cowell, Arkansas to Louis Walter Sexton and Alice Leona Smith Sexton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lou Ella Freeman; brothers, Lewis Edward Sexton, Dale Wayne Sexton Sr.; paternal aunt, Maxine Sexton.

He is survived by his Daughter, Margo Sexton Stark (Billy) of Atkins; son, Donald Clearwater Sexton (Jesse) of Lansing, MI.; bonus sons, Donny Kemp of Dardanelle, Marcus McDaniel of Atkins; grandchildren, Michael P Duvall Jr. (Erica), Billy R. Stark Jr.; great grandchildren, Areana Alvarez, Fabian Sisouphanh; sister, Jimmie Foreman (Glenn) of Lee's Summit, MO.; sister, Bernice Rizzi (Craig) of Carlsbad, CA.; brother-in-law, Monroe Freeman of Dover; sisters-in-law, Jeannette Sexton of Riverside, CA., Helen Sexton of Pierson, FL. and several other family and friends.

Donald was an avid hunter. He was known for coon and rabbit hunting. He enjoyed being outdoors.

His visitation will be 5-7pm Monday, June 2nd, 2025 at Russellville Family Funeral. The Funeral service will be 2pm Tuesday, June 3rd at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel with burial following in East Point Cemetery officiated by Bro. Jon Burdine. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.

Pallbearers will be Donny Kemp, Jerry Freeman, Virgil Freeman, Kevin Eakin, Laina Brown Barnes, Scott Sexton, Marcus McDaniel.

Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Horton, Bennie Parks and Monroe Freeman.
