It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donald Lee McCain, 78, of Russellville, Arkansas, who left us peacefully at his home on May 18, 2025. Born on July 8, 1946, in Manilla, Arkansas, Donald was the beloved son of Ed McCain and Nova Mae McCain.
Donald cherished his family, leaving behind his devoted wife, Jamie McCain, and their daughter, Patty Brannum. He took great joy in the lives of his two granddaughters, Kloe and Breanna, who will carry his love in their hearts forever. He is also survived by his two nieces, Pam and Kimma, along with numerous other family members and friends who were touched by his warmth and kindness.
A man of unwavering faith, Donald was a dedicated Christian and former preacher, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He lived a life filled with compassion and love, embodying the spirit of kindness and generosity.
Donald was not just a husband and father; he was a lover of life. His passion for fishing brought him immense joy, and many fond memories were created on the water, surrounded by those he loved.
To honor his memory, a private family service will be held at a later date. The arrangements are being handled by Russellville Family Funeral, where we invite you to share your condolences and fond memories in the online guestbook available at www.russellvillefamilyfuneral.com.
Donald Lee McCain will be forever missed, but his legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know him.
